East Anglia Courts - Ipswich and Cambridge The contract involved the design, build, finance and operate new Crown Courts at Ipswich and Cambridge. Ipswich is a four-storey rectangular building clad in stainless steel which features an 'oil canning' effect to provide definition and texture to the long elevations and curtain walling to provide natural light. Cambridge is a four-storey elliptical building formed with brickwork and a small amount of curtain walling to blend in with the Cambridge environment. Client: Modern Courts Ltd. Guildhall Yard East, London EC2 A major extension to a landmark site in the City of London, was undertaken on a two-stage basis. The works consisted of building a new museum and Art Gallery complex, four storeys of office accommodation and extensive underground storage facilities for the City of London.
